The H&Y 77mm Magnetic HD Black Mist 1/4 Filter Kit (EB4-77) is a professional diffusion filter designed to create a soft, cinematic look while retaining overall image detail and sharpness. Its 1/4 Black Mist effect gently diffuses highlights, reduces harsh contrast and adds a subtle atmospheric glow around bright light sources.
The EVO-Series filter features a dual-mount design, allowing it to be used either as a conventional screw-in filter or magnetically with the included 77mm magnetic adapter ring. The filter uses multi-coated HD optical glass with an aluminium filter frame for durability and reliable optical performance.
The filter is particularly useful for portrait, wedding, fashion, landscape, tabletop and video production where a softer, more cinematic rendering is desired. The 1/4 strength provides a noticeable but controlled diffusion effect without excessively softening the entire image.
