The Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di III MACRO VXD is a dedicated macro prime lens designed for Nikon Z-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras. It combines a 90mm medium-telephoto focal length with true 1:1 life-size magnification, making it suitable for photographing flowers, insects, jewellery, watches, product details, artwork and other small subjects.

Its bright f/2.8 aperture supports shooting in available light and helps create smooth background separation for portraits and close-up images. The VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor delivers fast, precise autofocus, while the optical design uses 15 elements in 12 groups to support detailed image reproduction. A 12-blade circular diaphragm produces smooth bokeh and distinctive starburst effects when stopped down.

Additional features include BBAR-G2 coating, moisture-resistant construction, a fluorine-coated front element, a focus limiter switch and compatibility with TAMRON Lens Utility. The Nikon Z version weighs approximately 640g and measures 128.5mm in length.
