The reduced minimal focal distance from 1.5m to 1.2m enables users to easily adapt to a range of challenging environments. With an IS performance equivalent to 4 shutter speed stops, up from the previous 2.5 stops, the EF70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM is able to ensure sharpness of images when shooting at a longer focal length. In addition, the Lens Information Display with a mode switch button to toggle between displays allows users to be better-informed to take better quality images.
